Raspberry Buttermilk Ice Cream Recipe

A delicious frozen dessert combining the tangy flavors of raspberries and buttermilk with the sweetness of banana.

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, puree raspberries, buttermilk, simple syrup and banana until smooth
  2. Transfer to a bowl
  3. Cover and refrigerate until completely cold or overnight
  4. Stir fruit mixture and transfer to ice cream maker
  5. Freeze according to maker’s instructions

Simple Syrup

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, bring sugar and water to a simmer
  2. Cook, stirring for 1 minute or until sugar is completely dissolved
  3. Simmer without stirring for 2 minutes more
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until cold
