Perogie Casserole Recipe

A comforting weeknight casserole that comes together fast — frozen perogies, diced ham, and sautéed vegetables baked in a creamy mushroom soup sauce with melted cheddar on top.

Ingredients

  • 16–20 frozen perogies
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup cooked ham, diced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 can (10oz) condensed mushroom soup

Instructions

  1. In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and red pepper for 5 minutes until softened.
  2. In a medium casserole dish, combine frozen perogies, sautéed onion and red pepper, and diced ham.
  3. Mix milk and mushroom soup together and pour over the casserole.
  4. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes until heated through and bubbling, or microwave until heated through.
