A comforting weeknight casserole that comes together fast — frozen perogies, diced ham, and sautéed vegetables baked in a creamy mushroom soup sauce with melted cheddar on top.
Ingredients
- 16–20 frozen perogies
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup cooked ham, diced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can (10oz) condensed mushroom soup
Instructions
- In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onion and red pepper for 5 minutes until softened.
- In a medium casserole dish, combine frozen perogies, sautéed onion and red pepper, and diced ham.
- Mix milk and mushroom soup together and pour over the casserole.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes until heated through and bubbling, or microwave until heated through.
