Ingredients
- 3 tbsp lard or shortening
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
- Cut lard into flour and salt
- Sprinkle with water until moist
- Divide into 12 portions
- Shape into balls and brush with lard
- Cover and let sit for 20 minutes
- Roll balls on floured surface into 6-inch circles
- Heat an ungreased 8-inch skillet over medium heat
- Cook until edges are dry and the surface blisters, approximately 2 minutes
- Turn over and cook
- Stack between wax paper
- Cover with damp towel
